A change leader and a problem solver with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Tanuja has been associated at leadership positions with reputed organizations like NTT Data, GE, Bank of America and Call Health. She has excellence in people practices and is extremely passionate and focused on strategy, execution, sustainability & effectiveness of people, process and performance.
Having worked in leadership positions in India and US with large multinationals and having earned a Degree from Cornell University, Tanuja is very well respected and recognized within the HR fraternity.
Several years ago she embarked on a learning journey to develop the Human Resources of this country. Now she is actively involved in enabling a large number of youth to take up industry relevant skill training that will help them in securing a better livelihood.
Tanuja is extremely passionate about creating a diverse workforce and she strongly believes that the untapped potential of women across the country in every walk of life is a priority that requires urgent attention. She is a core member of CII Women's wing-IWIN working towards creating a sustainable and diverse workforce.
Employability Skill for Youth
Tanuja is working on skill development efforts across the country, reducing gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, new skill building, and innovative thinking not only for existing jobs but also jobs that are to be created.
She is also working on assessment, certification and recognition of individuals with prior learning experience or skills and creating a standardized certification mechanism.
Employment & Employability
Tanuja is working extensively to link aptitude, aspiration, and knowledge of the skilled workforce it creates with employment opportunities and demands in the market. Every effort made is to provide placement opportunities to candidates, trained and certified under the Scheme. She is working in creating Job Melas in small towns and interiors of India to create employment opportunities.
